David Johns, Director

The founder of Airscape Media, David has over twelve years of experience in journalism, radio, TV and online media. His credits include roles at ITV, the BBC and Virgin Radio as well as many local radio stations around the south and south-east of England.

David first became interested in Internet TV in 1997, back when broadband to the home was a distant pipe-dream. He nonetheless wrote, presented and created audio and video for the web including such pioneering sites as Silicon.com and Worldpop.com

David has a degree in Computer Studies and is scheduled to complete an LLB (Hons) degree in Law at the University of Kent in June 2009. He is also NCTJ qualified in media law.
